  1. I've got bike in for first service this weekend so not done much but have found that.. B mode - seems sluggish and delayed on pickup....no likey. A mode - too sensitive for town. Any bump in the road and the slightest switch of the wrist and it's jumping, ok on quicker roads...no likey. Std mode - works well in town and on faster twisties. Just the right amount of twist to power. Likey. I reserve the right to change my mind after run in. Incidentally, been keeping under 6k most of the time during run in. Dealer said, after first service, good to go, but book says 7k until 1000 miles. What you reckon.????
  2. Crossgates cafe for me. Surrounded by some fantastic roads in every direction. Two Hoots cafe is worth a look, near Devil's bridge, Aberystwyth. Nice Mountain roads if you fancy a more sedate pace with stunning views of Elan valley.
  3. Yep...Used it today for 200 mile ride in Wales. Agree, not sure lean angle's are accurate, god knows how it works. It allows others to follow your ride. Various info regarding that particular ride. Great fun. Good app.
  4. Most bikes I've had will upshift without QS from 3 up with a quick shut off.
  5. I've gone with the evotech blanking plate's and when needed an m8 lifting eye for strapping, bit cheaper than the R and G. Should do the job.
  6. Tail tidy and get some smaller feet...or remove pillion pegs. Which screen you go for.?
  7. Does anyone make these for tracer.???Don't need pillion pegs but need strap fixing point. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F332874138732
  8. Nice intro and welcome, I also looked at the little veryses, nice styling, nice colours and comfy but, the T9 offer's that and more. More engine, and for what I want these days makes it the perfect bike. Ticked all my boxes. Not too big, not too small. Enjoy.
  9. MY18 T9 Tyre pressure's?? Book says, 1 person F 33psi - R 36. 2 person. F 36 - R 42. Do we generally stick to these number's.? Only had bike 2 days.
  10. They look pretty good but I will need a bungie fix down there. Maybe some sort of hoop. All ideas welcome.
  11. Nice little bags.. I'll fit ring tonight. I got dealer to fit tail tidy, makes back end much smarter. Rad gaurd and tank pads. Also had heated grips, I wouldn't be without them anymore. Dealer fits for free, just parts to pay. My only gripe is my boots catch rear pegs so they will probably be coming off, just put on when needed.
  12. Picked up my new MY18 nimbus grey tracer 900 today. 100 mile trip home. I could of rode plenty more. First 50 and pretty happy, keeping a check on rev limit 6 k, however, 6 k in top is 90 mph so all good. As I rode more the bike grew on me more and more. Ride home started with wet motorway so not good, but 30 mins later, nearer home was much dryer and went for the twisties. The smiles started... Light, nimble, reminded me of my KTM 950 sm that I loved so much. Sat up, good view, flickable, all the things I like in bike's. By the time i got home I was paired. Superb. Very much looking forward to getting the 600 m out of the way. Roll on next weekend.
  13. Welcome...now get yourself up that west coast.
  14. Been looking...lots of options... getting headache.
  15. BBB... I'm liking that, what size bolt 18 tracer 9.??? I can see the X grip prongs interfering with phone buttons. Quad lock looks pretty good aswel.
  16. What you guys using for a handlebar phone holder.?? I've got a eBay cheapo that clamps to bars and phone zips in case, bit flimsy though. Have seen Quad lock and Ram mount ball jobbies. Any better than other.? Neither very cheap.
  17. I would imagine it is a constant display indicating current pressure, so when cold it should show your set pressure and increase as tyres warm, say +5 . But the beauty of them is if pressure drops below set pressure, as per book maybe, you will get warning indicating loss of pressure and maybe puncture. That would be the only reason I would get one.
  18. That looks like a great bit of kit. Does it simply work from valve cap ? Good to know if pressures are dropping, early puncture warning.
  19. Welcome, I'm in Shropshire so hello neighbour. I too noticed the light weightness as soon as I lifted it off the side stand. Getting a new MY18 next week, can't wait. Riding position did it for me though, lovely low pegs. Enjoy.
  20. Got mine of Amazon, think from Italia. £44. eBay around £46.
  21. No loops..I put keys in jacket pocket, phone in Jean's pocket. For me it's for water and sandwich/ snack. Do the job for £44. Need bf23 ring aswel. £15 eBay.
  22. Got the givi ea123 today, looks lower to the tank, if you know what I mean. Dimensions are 8 inch wide, 9 inch long, 4 inch deep. I got 2 cans of baked beans 410g and a 1kg bag of sugar in no probs. That fills it pretty much. So I would say, ideal for day rides, water, snack etc.. sorry no photos, not clever enough.
  23. Visor cleaning easy...baby wipes. Always have a pack with me. Very multi purpose.
