aussietracer
So...long time no talk. Since the last time I was here I've added a few farklers and did a few farkly things. I've installed GIVI crash bars (and tested) Installed a RAM mounted GPS, will be wiring it via the accessory loom. I've taken her offroad. On the perfect road. And been snapped by a few photographers in Sydney, Australia. Soon I'll be doing a dual headlight mod and installing some spotties.

What is that clamped to the center of the handlebars? txs Bill

How did you mount the GPS? Can you share any photos of how you did it? I'd like to move my Ram X-grip up there if possible.

Let's see, garage door with no insulation, so that means a warmer climate. So. Cal? A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul. aussietracer
The RAM mount is mounted via the windshield screws, iirc its a combination of RAM mirror mounts and dedicated GPS RAM mounts, I need to make a few spacers to even out each side of the windshield but it works. The handlebar mount is a jerry rig ad/hoc of a gopro handbar mount and another GPro mount. Stuck a mount to my phone lol.

advman
This weekend I fitted these https://calsport.co.uk/yamaha-mt09-tracer-2015/gilles-controls/gilles-adjustable-footrests/RGK-520-A30-40-B/ to keep Doris happy How'd the other 1/2 find them? Are they an improvement over the stock pegs?Big thumbs up from SWMBO 8-)
greg
Actually, I did a lot. At 525 miles, changed oil & filter, installed Shorai LiFe battery, OEM heated grips, KTM handguards (I hated the Darth Vader stockers), California Scientific "shorty" dark tinted screen. https://michaelnel.smugmug.com/2015-Yamaha-FJ-09/i-fHhpsLL/0/XL/handguards-shortyscreen-XL.jpg Is the screen in low position on this photo? I currently have Ermax Sport Screen installed on my bike. I like the looks but still get a good amount of buffeting and noise and would like something even shorter than Ermax. Maybe this CalSci shorty.
