Supporting Member texscottyd Posted May 3, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted May 3, 2019 That’s beautifully done. I like this power cruiser style motif way more than the older ones. Click through and study some of the detailed photos... impressive design & workmanship. Only 750 globally, at $29k each. It honestly looks like it’s worth that, but a bit too rich for my blood.
nhchris
Kind of like a Diavel or Vmax on steroids. Badass looking for sure. It's got 3 times our displacement and a one gallon larger fuel capacity. Wonder how far it goes on a tank. I rode a Rocket 3 trike conversion at Americade one year and it shook the filings out of my teeth. cb 1 1968 Triumph Bonneville 650 1971 Norton Commando Roadster 2002 Harley 1200 Sportster 2003 Honda ST 1300 2016 FJ

I remember back in the early 2000's when Triumph came out with the Rocket as a VMax killer. Well, it wasn't close but at least it was a try. Kinda like the V-Rod. Then Yamaha came out with the Gen 2 VMax in 2009. I never took to the new design of the VMax. I had 3 Gen 1's but never a Gen 2. The Rocket is a muscular looking bike, I like it. At this point in my life, at half the cost of my lake house, I'll never own 1 but who says ya can't look? Becoming the seasoned citizen that I am I sold the 150-170 MPH bike, ZX11 for the nice light-weight FJ09. Still has a killer power to weight ratio to ham-fist it up to 100-110 MPH and that's good enough for me now. 1 Ain't no fun when the rabbit gets the gun! Supporting Member texscottyd Posted May 5, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted May 5, 2019 I have to admit, I’m really liking this bike. The detail work looks stunning, and the overall design is very appealing to me... Maybe my ‘H2 SX SE & Monkey fund’ needs to be re-evaluated? 1
