  1. The MT-10 is based off a R1 so will need some serious redesign to become a sport-tourer although Yamaha seem to be trying to make it into 1 with the MT-10 Tourer edition
  2. I have these indicators on my own GT. All the information i gave you relates to my installation of these however the part number is different to the one in the Ebay link you provided above as the indicator model is different (yme-h0789-00-10).
  3. As @betoney said. The front indicators need to be mounted with the bulge of the adapter facing outwards. The indicator you got is a standard accessory for the Tracer GT in Europe so you must have mounted it incorrectly
  4. I am using these: https://yamabits.co.uk/yamaha-led-flashers-indicators.html Mine had the correct flash rate when indicating however when I would turn on the 4 hazard lights it would blink approx. 20 times and then stop. You'd have to wait about 5 seconds, switch off the hazard lights and switch them back on for them to work again. As a solution I removed the front resistors and left the back ones connected and this rectified the issue. Correct flash rate was maintained too. I removed the front resistors and left the back connected purely because of ease of access in case they had an issue. Without any resistors connected the flash rate was too fast. I would try replicating my setup and see if that resolves the issue. Also, make sure that you are not accidentally reversing polarity if you are using bullet connectors.
  5. I just used a screwdriver to pry them open. and push them back the 1st time. The 2nd time I replaced them as they only cost like 3 euros between them. When changing the LED indicators I recommend you test them before reassembling the side panel. On mine I replaced them with Yamaha indicators that came with resistors however with all 4 resistors connected the Hazard lights would only blink twice and stop! You would need to wait 5-10 seconds to reset them. Normal left/right signalling worked fine. I later discovered by trial and error that only having 2 resistors connected resolved this issue (and kept the correct flash rate)...Hence me having to reopen the side panel P.s. The only difference as far as I am aware between the EU and US GT versions are that the indicators in the US have 3 wires whilst the EU only use 2 (the 3rd being for the DRL)
  6. I would say mugs (preferably) stainless steel , buffs, caps, keychains and stickers.
  7. Just use water and a tiny bit of soap. Wet the visor, leave it a couple of mins so that all the stains loosen and just wipe it off. The sprays work well but really aren't necessary. The main point to remember is to not try and wipe it off immediately.
  8. My last wheel stripe (no heat appled) lasted 10 years and is still going. Bike had over 60k done with them on, survived at least 5 tyre changes, rain, sun and the odd power wash.
  9. $22 is probably not cheap but it does enhance the look of the bike (assuming you find the colour you want). Other brand roll kits start as low as $4 on ebay if you do a search. If you have left over 6mm after the stripes you can also try applying it to the wheel to see how difficult it is to do free hand. I believe the only difference is rim tape is usually 7mm.
  10. Very nice work and a great idea but i can't help thinking about the potential damage that metal lip could do to you in a head-on crash as it is basically a razor blade.
  11. The 2nd bullet point on the box says they come in reflective or fluorescent finish
  12. In Europe it's not cars that are killing bikes but scooters. Specifically scooters like the T-max and X-adv that funnily enough cost more than the Tracer, and, have more extras as standard than the Tracer. The new T-max DX comes with electrically adjustable windscreen, heated seats, keyless ignition all as standard. People want economy and comfort, and since Europe has major traffic/parking issues scooters are a lot more desirable.
  13. If you are doing a simple red stripe don't buy those as they are quite difficult to align. You can buy rolls of rim tape that come with an applicator tool. Super easy and shouldn't take you more than 5 mins each wheel as they are 1 piece. The tool just rests on the rim so the tape remains equally spaced in the wheel. It also separates the sticky backing from the decal as you apply it. You can see the roll in question and how the applicator works in the pic i attached. 1 roll should do an entire bike. Just make sure you clean the rim properly before application using alcohol I would only recommend rim tapes that come in multiple parts when they have graphics.
  14. "Rumble" yes; "Rumble of speed" LOL I actually like the look of the livewire if I am honest but it does seem to be unreastically priced
  15. Black is negative, red positive. Original terminal leads point in towards the bike according to the manual (this is from a 2019 GT model)
  16. Is the sound present even with the ignition off?
  17. Just checked the Conti website and it seems that for the Tracer GT only the ContiMotion is approved
  18. Enjoying the Mediterranean December sunshine
  19. When you changed the tyres were the wheels balanced? And have you checked that the rear wheel is straight in the swingarm? As said already I would also check the tyre direction. The OP seems to give the impression that prior to the tyre change they didn't have any issues at this speed so if that is the case the issue shouldn't be related to the hand guards or weight distribution
  20. Givi have a separate listing for the GT. It seems to be in production now (until a few weeks ago it was still in manufacturing. I personally believe the fittings are identical but most vendors are playing it safe and not releasing models for the GT until they have tested the fitting to ensure it is correct (which is the right way to do things). So far, from what I have seen on the manufacturer websites, based on model numbers the following seem to be interchangable: [ul type=disc][*]Sw-motech Crashbars[*]Radiator guards[*]Akropovic exhausts[/ul]
  21. I honestly find the front brakes amazingly powerful so i personally wouldn't call them underwhelming in any way
  22. Do you have a side shot of that fender with the indicators installed?
  23. You don't have gallons until empty but you have litres used which should serve the purpose
