  1. Myself and 2 mates had a trip planned for whit week from Shrewsbury, up through the Yorkshire moors, Northumberland then over to Dumfries and Galloway, the lakes and back home having 3 nights out, but alas, cancelled. What have I missed up there.?? Oh..you will love the bike. 👍
  2. I blew my 2amp fuse with a small compressor yesterday. Ordered this for a more direct to battery route with bigger fuse. Will connect to my optimate lead. Will it work.?? ACCUMATE / OPTIMATE TM68 CIGARETTE LIGHTER ADAPTER / POWER ADAPTER CIGARETTE SOCKET ADAPTER ON A 0.9M LEAD THAT WILL...
  3. Been messing about today, blew 2a fuse with compressor, moved charging lead, cleaned and thought I'd take some photos of Constands front headlift stand. Great product, easy to use and very useful. Pin is 19mm both ends.
  4. Get it back to a dealer, no miles and warranty. Tell them to sort it.
  5. I'd have a new one for that price. If that's ÂĢ5600 in UK it's a fantastic deal. Over here there still ÂĢ8000 new. Add what you need. Dealer might fit for free, just pay for parts.
  6. I'm out Monday or Tuesday. Gonna study my avg fuel con display. In reality I don't care less what it does as long as it's running proper. 👍
  7. Well, just reset it. Didn't realise that was a thing. ðŸĪŠ Thanks Betoney, see how it goes next ride.👍
  8. No, never reset it. Will look.👍
  9. In the menu there's a 'reset all' I think. I'll try that, i never use it. I just reset trip 1 on my days ride and trip 2 on fuel. I'll have another look. 👍
  10. Average... Always reset trip 2 on fuel fill. It always says I'm getting 61mpg whatever I'm doing.
  11. Mine don't work. It always shows 61.3 or 61.4 mpg. That would mean I could do 240 odd miles to a tank. No matter how i ride always the same. MY 19 tracer coming up 3k miles. 18 Litre tank which in UK is 4 gallon. Any ideas.?
  12. Some of the best roads I've ever seen around Oban. Road the NC500 last may in the sun and was fantastic. Never been up the east side, Edinburgh, Perth etc. For me, with 15 hours riding, the second half wouldn't be as enjoyable. Good luck.
  13. Some great pics coming out of this forum recently, brilliant. But I ask, how do you manage these miles in a day. ? I'm done by 250. Shoulders ache, arse ache, happy to get home ache. I suppose it depends on the roads, but 250 can take me 6/7 hrs, with stops and chat, maybe too much chat. 🙂👍
  14. There's a simple fix here somewhere... take it all apart and wheel off and reassemble taking your time. Pay close attention to spacers, caliper movement, disc alignment. Piston/pad movement. Grease where necessary. Check if it all goes tits up when axle bolt tightened. Don't rush the job.
  15. Go for a headstock stand.. think it's a 20mm pin and lifts wheel.
  16. Don't touch it unless it's chain, get dealer to sort it at first service. Brand new bike.
  17. Yep, 1050 sport 2015. Lovely bike. Heavier than the tracer, makes a bit more power but with the weight reckon the tracer trumps it. 👍
  18. Yep...me and a mate got out yesterday, first ride since before lockdown. Soon got in the swing of it. Roads were more quiet than i was expecting, maybe more out today. 136 miles taking in Bewdley, Tenbury wells and leominster. Absolutely loved it. 👍
  19. Could you get some rubber bead to push into the grooves. Good idea btw.
  20. Brilliant example of the rubber paint usage. Think I'll be trying something different soon. Just waiting for the paint colour to tug my arm. 👍
  21. You know it's not a harley right. 👍
