  1. Too expensive. I have all the tech I need and a big tft on my 19 GT, and I only paid 12k brand new including tax. For the money they are now asking for these I’m more inclined to go Suzuki 1000gt or Ninja 1000sx. However, I’m not really thinking I need to move on from the 19GT so it doesn’t really matter to me.
  2. I suggested to one shop that they replace the basket under my YES and they him-hawwed around like well, if that’s what it is I guess, but we’ll have to check it out, etc. I don’t want to be unscrupulous about it but at the same time, I want this sort of thing covered like betoney has mentioned.
  3. I’ll take the FJR dash over the new 9 any day. That thing is hideous. Thankful I have the 2019 GT.
  4. sprocket nut is off. There was no washer which is indicated in the manual. Not sure what to make of that. Thanks!
  5. I suspect that could be potentially harmful to the transmission. I'll leave it in neutral for now.
  6. I purchased an 08 gixxer 750 a few months back that is a track only bike. I’ve ordered new sprockets and chain. I’m working on getting the front sprocket off and IT IS STUCK. Unless that thing is not lefty loosey I’m at a loss. I put a broom handle through the wheel and swingarm and it broke the handle. I’ve sprayed with WD multiple times. I’m afraid the previous owner put the permanent loctite on it. Any other tricks?
  7. It was cold, but I liked the track a lot. The tracer did fine, but scraped a feeler in one corner and kind of spooked me. I probably could have pushed harder after that but just didn’t. I picked up a dedicated track bike since bc I’m just not willing to sacrifice the Tracer.
  8. That’s crazy. I wonder if any photographers got the incident from start to finish.
  9. I think you’re right about that.
  10. I'm heading to Grattan next week and even though I'm in novice I thought about taking off the center stand just in case. Is it just a case of taking out the two bolts with a "6"?
  11. Ivan gave me my money back after trying to figure out if it was his tune or some other issue with my 2019GT. Of course I had to send it back and he put it back to stock. I was going to try 2 wheel, but chickened out. All I want is smooth throttle but it’s not horrible so I’m not messing with it for now.
  12. I hope you get another “tracer”. Hate to lose you from the forum!
  13. I’m 5’9” and I don’t think there was any dirty air when I’ve had my screen completely off. It just looks funny IMO.
  14. Not sure other than they claim to have increased the air box by 40%. Other than that I’m an RC noob. A friend of mine told me to be sure to torque everything down after every track day though.
  15. Went to the BA 22 after OEM on my 19 GT and it was fabulous, but the rear is rounding off. Anyone tried putting a T32 on the rear with the S22 on the front?
  16. If I didn't declare 22 the year of the track I'd probably sign up for the Suzuki.
  17. A little carbon fiber on the top and a little matching blue in the middle. Both vinyl wrap.
  18. I believe there is a difference in the click when you reach the softest setting (zero). You can also feel the tension go away from the adjustment knob. Then the manual states that you have 24 clicks to the hardest setting. I have zeroed mine out doing this and it's fine. Just go slow and listen closely.
  19. The competition is heating up. Should be a good thing for the consumer. I for one don't think I'd drop the kind of money they are going to ask for this without fully adjustable suspension, at least as fully adjustable as the Tracer.
  20. First review is in from the launch. Looks like it is what we expected. Smooth, sporty, comfortable. Just think it could be improved with a center stand, heated grips, adjustable windscreen. But who knows. It looks the part. Now if the competition between Honda, Yam, Kaw, and Suz could actually bring the prices down that would be terrific.
  21. At the one end of the tail, there was an unmarked cop car sitting on the side, but as we rode by it seemed empty. Either it was just a deterrent, or he was doing what we all do every once in a while in the woods.
  22. I have to say the Dragon was fun, but you can find just as good about anywhere in the area and much of it with less traffic.
