  1. And the bike looks super cool in that red colour (color)
  2. Plug it with these wee worms things.... https://www.thevisorshop.com/en/Oxford-CO2-Tyre-Repair-1-Kit/m-18433.aspx
  3. I used the worm things on my vstrom, and rode it for another 3000 miles, at all sorts of speeds, I forgot all about them once I had the tyre(tire) inflated again.
  4. Oooft. Are they repairable with those worm things? I've used them before with great success.
  5. It looks good for another 1000 mile at least, if you can find a completely twisty road with zero straights.
  6. Super photos. The artwork on those silos is spectacular. I love it when people brighten thing up like that, but those are extra well done.
  7. That sounds like an amazing ride. (even the grasshopper bit, it is all part of the experience after all) 99 mile winding road ahead , a motorcycle theme park for free.
  8. @iitywygms yours looks as though it has been welded on way off centre (center)
  9. Was very pleased to see my village had put up a Union Jack and bunting to commemorate VJ Day. Thank you to all who fought to give us the freedom we have today.
  10. oh, and that wierdy brass bracket nut thing fits in a hole in the beak. In other news, after I put the bike together and got my gear on to go test it, the postman arrived with the spacers for the indicator! Arrrrgh, it is all coming off again tomorrow. It's the crashbars that make it awkward, I reckon I could do it in 5 minutes now, both sides. Phillips Screwdriver and an Allen key, easy peasy.
  11. I thought I'd put it through a proper test. Do not pull away in 6th from tickover, it will do it, but it feels horrible It has transformed the bike for me, it's how it should have been from the factory. Temp gauge was reading 3c , sweat pouring off me, I think it should have said 23c (80 something F)
  12. Took the bike out to test the new Booster Plug. Absolutely does everything I had hoped. And it is literally 10 minutes to fit (if you know how to get the side panel off) , as it plugs in on the left hand side on a 2015 Tracer 900 with no taking the tank off or anything. Silky smooth running in all modes under 30mph in town, 3rd gear, rather than 2nd and hunting. Tickover, I rode along at tickover in 1st (7mph) and 6th (27mph or 22mph I cant remember which) with no hunting. Throttle on moving off and turning from a standstill is smooth in all 3 modes now. I am so pleased with it, highly recommend it to anyone.
  13. They are good, aren't they. I got one on my CRF250.
  14. I ride all year, the only thing that ever bothers me is the thought of hitting black ice. I just lathered the bike in ACF50, and it is parked outside all year round (under a cover) , so I'll report back on how it goes. A little goes a long way, I sprayed it onto a microfibre cloth and wiped everywhere on the bike except the discs and the brake calipers. Oh, and wear gloves if you are putting it on, it is nigh on impossible to wash your hands afterwards
  15. Congratulations, and let the real spending begin! p.s. Photos or it never happened.
  16. I hear you there, I can't ride sportsbikes any more because of neck issues. I remember when the firestorm came out, it seemed a brilliant bike, and I'm sure a well looked after one like that will be a proper 'classic' , and only go up in value. (Don't be going selling it though!)
  17. I demand an air cooled carburetted twin shock minimal electronic , easily serviceable , gorgeous motorcycle, with the performance and service intervals of the MT-09. At the same price or less of course! (and I just know someone is going for a search to find one, just to make my rage complete!)
  18. Near Castle Douglas, South West Scotland. No option for SW Scotland in the poll, this forum is a disgrace. I'm contacting the police!
  19. Once this virus insanity passes, i just might be over there to treat you. I think it's made even more difficult by the crash bars on mine , but my goodness, what a massive load of work to take off a panel. I'm now killing time rather than going and sorting it out , in case anyone is wondering Especially since I need to take it all off again to sort the stupid indicator once the spacers arrive in a couple of days. Aaaaaaaaaaaargh!
  20. Put me in touch with a local delivery company, that accept online orders, and I will hold up to my end of the deal. (pm me a link or whatever) I'm going to face taking it all apart again shortly, but I've got some sort of stye in my eye, so I am currently monocular , so that should help (NOT!)
  21. Super cool. I own both bikes Same colours and everything. Even looks like the side of the loch here. Have you sneaked over and been out on my bikes while I was having a nap?
  22. Inside my panels were some really ancient cobwebs. I need to figure out how this contraption fits back on, then I can get out and test the Booster Plug... It is the top right radiator bolt brass spring nut thingy Anyone able to help me out, I'll treat you to an ice cream.
  23. That looks great, stealth and aggression.
