I wouldn't mess with the wiring in any way shape or form, perhaps just add some additional LED running/fog lights instead?

Over the years and owning many bikes, I will say that aftermarket is usually superior to OEM. All you need to do is slightly loosen the 4 pinch bolts at the bar, rotate the bar back and bit and then torque/tighten them back up.......easy peezy.

I just had to rotate my bar ever so slightly back as was "barely" making contact with my hand guards at full lock, no more clearance issue.......of course I have the sport screen.

So my feedback wasn't good enough for ya huh? Agree with upgrading brakes and suspension, any power and torque gains you get from exhaust and a tune will be minimal......it is what it is, and I wrench plenty myself.

New fluid and HH pads.......you'll be right as rain, and like you I also scrub speed off for corners using both brakes, however my rear even with stock pads works quite well.

I won't own a motorcycle and give a thought to gas mileage, that's not why I ride motorcycles.......and yeah I have a heavy right wrist. I average in the mid 40's for mileage regardless of how I ride, not many cars that can do that which are fun to drive. I start looking for gas around 170 miles and usually have about a gallon left, have yet to come even close to running out

If you have a 21 or up, you don't use the clutch for shifting up/down with a quick shifter........that's what a quick shifter does. Be sure on the up shift that you aren't letting up on the throttle, but on downshifts you close the throttle.

Haven't pulled any of the plugs, only have 13k miles and it runs perfect. Exhaust pops come from too lean, not too rich, and my mileage per tank has not appeared to budge. It won't affect gas mileage as it works at idle circuit and low RPMS', not at our typical riding speeds/RPMS.
