Another Tracer Plus !

Never really figured the Tracer  would be good on gas and never seen much about it in all the reviews I looked at which was a lot before I pulled the trigger on a new GT , but I have been averaging 52 to 53 mpg and just got 55 mpg on the last fill up. That's actual not the computer . Mind you I'm not babying  it either , hard to do anyway. But the highway will generate good return on the triple. I'm more than pleased!

I think the journalists were riding it like the rest of us, running it through its paces.  "The fun starts at 5k rpm". 

In 48k miles, I have reached 200 miles out of a tank only twice, I usually average 44-46 mpg.

4.8 gallon gas capacity X 44 mpg = 211.2 miles

You are capable of hitting 200 miles on a tank, but likely choosing to get gas earlier in order to avoid finding yourself in a spot without a gas station. When commuting I wait until after 200 miles to fill up, but when riding for fun, I look for gas earlier to prevent running out at an inopportune time.

Correct, my F-Trip is flashing LONG before 200 miles.  The 2 times I went over 200 miles it had been flashing for about 20 miles.

That sounds about what I'm seeing, too, approx. 45 - 55 MPG or thereabouts; depending.  Just slightly better than expected.  Pretty decent IMHO.

Last fill up i put in 14.3 litres. Tank holds 18 litres. I'd done 182 miles.  Yep I reckon they will do 200 comfortably ly.  👍

During the first 600 miles I have been getting over 50 mpg easily. We shall see what happens now, but for touring I expect to get about that. 200 miles is easily doable on a tank.

I usually get about 40 to 45 mpg unless I'm riding on a main highway or Interstate (which I seldom do).

I've run out of fuel twice with the FJ-09 at approx. 190 miles.  At 150 I start looking for fuel.

I have gotten 55mpg at times when cruising 2 lane roads in the 45-55mph range... drops to 42-45mpg at interstate speeds
