  1. Got my Ready Luxe with Bultex... first impressions are positive. Will have to wait for a ride to truly know. As far as the gap on the rear seat. I probably wouldn't have noticed it right away had it not been brought to my attention on the forum. I will be swapping out the rubber feet on the rear seat to get it a little closer to the body work.
  2. Thanks @wordsmithtake care of yourself. The Forum will be here in case you buy a 4th or 5th Tracer.... Who's keeping count anyway?!?
  3. I believe the sargent seat is lower but it's not by much. I recommend lowering links if it ms important. Otherwise learn to use 1 leg at a stop.
  4. You must not have done much research lol.... The seat has been unbearable for most since the FJ-09's / MT-09 Tracer's creation. The general consensus is also not to bother with the Yamaha "comfort" seat. An aftermarket seat or custom shop that can add/shape foam will be your best bet.
  5. The black panels look good @Dodgy Knees. You're giving me ideas. Might try some different color schemes just for fun.
  6. I've ridden with a few FZ10s while on my FJ. The 09 was able to "keep up"... the 10s are beasts.... but the 10s do have to stop almost 2x as often for fuel. I've always loved that gray and neon color scheme. Congrats on the new bike @chesterburnet, she's a beauty.
  7. Hard to tell without being there but my guess is clutch as @betoney mentioned. Cam Chain Tension (CCT) is more of a rattle and nothing really in there to cause a squeak like a belt. Would help in troubleshooting (guessing) to try to determine where or which side of the engine the noise is coming from.
  8. Mine has been cracked for years.... I had completely forgotten about them until I read this.
  9. yes that is correct... still just intrigued by the shiny gold things and Matt isnt really around anymore to upgrade what I have. If he was still available i would let him send me some advanced cartridges or something experimental, but i dont think thats an option anymore.
  10. Been eyeballing the Ohlins NIX-30 street and a 535 or the like. I've thought about Traxxion as well but I like the idea of a 30mm piston vs a 20mm piston. Not completely set yet. Also have to figure out how to tell the wife I'm going to spend almost $2k on suspension parts lol.
  11. Just ordered a Bagster seat and plan to finally install my McCruise and Tenere switch gear. Might be some suspension upgrades in the near future as well.
  12. Well I pulled the trigger on a Bagster Ready Luxe with Bultex Foam... dont have the full model but it was listed as 5355Z. Ordered from silverstonemotor.com in France. Their ordering process seemed very straightforward. I will follow up when I receive it in a few weeks. I too like @coachluciano am giving it a go after owning a Sargent seat. I have had my Sargent for 3 years and it's a good seat l. Definitely an improvement over stock, but the wife and I went on a diet and lost some weight and now my boney butt and tailbone does not agree with the Sargent. Time will tell if the Bagster does the trick.
  13. Has anyone ordered from silverstonemotor.com ?? I know of Chromeburner, but the process on silverstone's website seems more straight forward.
  14. Well this is unfortunate... I was planning to order one for my '15. Did the front seat fit properly?
  15. Wow... I had the recall done as well (which was supposed to fix the issue). I will have to check mine tomorrow.
  16. I use these every winter... been good for 3 winters so far. not perfect but overall i have been very pleased.
  17. There is plenty of that here. Welcome to the forum!
  18. Nice... I have the Gilles adjuster and it is very high quality. What caused you to make the change?
  19. I also used Vcyclenut... he never said anything about using tape or anything other than blocking plates to block the AIS. He did say if I didn't block it a small amount of air might still make it through even with it disables but not enough to cause any issues. It's been almost 3 years.... no issues.
  20. Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy the bike!
  21. I have a pinlock shield on my HJC and I notice no difference in visibility at night whether it is in or not (aside from the fog when applicable). I feel that the pinlock system, while not perfect, is pretty effective.
  22. What are good stands? ....or are you just letting everyone know that 19mm is pin size we need?
