  1. Does anyone know if Bagster will ship to the US? There are some Bagster seats listed on Ebay with free international shipping from Amsterdam.
  2. I owned a Versys 650 just prior to buying my FJ-09. Its a nice bike. Very Comfortable, reliable etc... but that motor just needs a little more. Its punchy and not slow, per se... but nothing when compared to the CP3.
  3. @tinkerfreak Motorcycle shops in general give very little on trade in. You are better off returning it to stock prior to trading it in. Aftermarket accessories don't add much value at all... but you can sell them separately and make up some of the expense.
  4. My '08 FZ6 was butter smooth... Now that I have developed muscle memory for the FJ throttle it doesn't seem so "abrupt"... in fact I feel like I ride it just as smooth as any other bike I've owned. 2 Kawis and 2 Yamahas...
  5. Cruise can be added but it's not cheap... that new color dash is pretty
  6. You only need 1 relay for all the signals... it replaces the OEM relay under the driver seat. Are you sure you aren't referring to resistors that they sent you? You can hook up resistors for all the lights but the relay is much easier and cleaner IMO. It also removes the need for the resistors.
  7. I have that tail light on my '15... been several years now with no issues and it is WAY brighter than stock. Also if you are going with LED flush mounts, I highly recommend using a flasher relay as opposed to finding a place for the resistors. I have the TST Industries flasher relay. Direct plug and play. TST Industries | Gen2 LED Flasher Signal Relay ...
  8. I would probably go with the 900 GT unless I came across a used FJ/Tracer with significant upgrades. If you are only comparing brand new bikes I would go with the GT hands down.
  9. Did you choose to disable the AIS system? Might need some blocking plates. If it's truly backfiring that usually indicates there is a decent amount of unburnt fuel getting into the exhaust. So may be running too rich.
  10. "A" mode 100% of the time regardless of road condition. Even before getting my ECU flashed I had learned to embrace "A" mode and rode with it 95% of the time. After the flash I never change it.
  11. I would think so... no changes to the engine. I buy yamaha filters from the dealer.
  12. I'm sure they will sell you a passenger seat if you call them.
  13. I used Vcyclenut as well.. great value and bike runs wonderfully. Had him set it to start in A mode and never change it. Even in the rain...
  14. Probably uses the same master cylinder.... hahaha. (I have no idea.... just being funny) Edit.... I believe they are the same except for the resevoir. The sub assembly has different part numbers (assuming due to the different resevoir) but if you look piece by piece the part numbers are all the same.
  15. Whoa! That is a dangerous failure to have! Glad you didn't end up having to ditch the bike or something. Luckily haven't heard of another failure of this sort so hopefully that is an indication that it is very rare. Hope you get back on the road soon.
  16. We will still take a look to see if we can help whether or not it's in the GT section... Those new displays sure do look nice.
  17. Found this... couldnt get the original link to work but the dimensions are listed as M16 X 1.5.
