  1. @chesterburnet 99% sure the ABS/TCS sensor is not seated fully/correctly in the front wheel. This has been reported many times on the forum and I have done this myself. Pull the front ABS sensor out re-insert it making sure it is flush and tighten everything back up.
  2. So you have the new one they sent you available for $400... or the one with a hole in the header?
  3. I would actually be curious to see these numbers if there was an accurate way of measuring.
  4. I thought that might be the case. Keep us updated on what you come up with...
  5. Welcome again to the forum.... Have you tried doing a keyword search for suspension settings or stock suspension? There have been many discussions regarding suspension settings. Step 1 would be to try to get rider sag set as close as possible to the 30% os suspension travel mark. I believe that should be around 40-45mm of sag. This will likely take a significant amount of the preload adjustment on the stock springs (I would guess 2-3 lines showing). Same for rear, i think it's around 30-35mm sag but I cant remember the total suspension travel in the rear so take that with a grain of salt. As far as rebound I would set it to about 6-8 clicks out from all the way in and make small adjustments until it feels right. I know you asked for specific settings on stock suspension and perhaps someone else will provide them... but I've had aftermarket suspension for some time now and am going off of memory regarding stock settings. Also suspension is somewhat subjective as well in terms if how you want the bike to feel.
  6. I've heard the Akro was ridiculously loud with the baffle removed as well... that's why I was interested in @bugie's thoughts.
  7. What are your thoughts on the sound with the baffle removed?
  8. As of right now, Sep 29th or Oct 19 would be the days from that list that I would be able to meet up. My schedule rotates so dont always have weekends off.
  9. Right down the street from me... unfortunately dont usually have a lot of time to ride. 90% of the time I'm on the FJ is for commuting.
  10. @brewhahaAre you talking about like say 40-45mph and you are just barely giving it any throttle... just enough to keep it at a steady speed? If so... mine does it too... has done it for as long as i can remember.. I've chalked it up to drive chain not being under as much tension and causing a little vibration. Might have to do with the dampened sprocket as @norcal616 mentioned.
  11. I rode with my Akro (no cat) on for a couple weeks before getting my ECU flashed and I definitely did not lose 30hp... It was more powerful at the bottom and top and flat in the mid range. After ECU power is very linear across the RPMs. I did not use 2WDW but he has some dyno charts posted somewhere that show the gains. The Graves exhaust has produced the highest HP numbers.
  12. Too add to this conversation... it has been reported that removing the foam underneath the fuel tank that sits on top of the airbox has been proven to show modest gains on the dyno as well as a louder induction noise. This is also speaking in regards to a '15 and I am unaware if the new Tracers have this foam... but if you are in the mood for some free modification and have the tank off... Here is the post...
  13. I would have to assume it is only a matter of time.
  14. I can confirm that this fits on the '15s too. Just installed mine today. Very pleased with the quality.
  15. I have the an akro system and I agree... not my favorite set of headers. I would go with Graves or Yoshi if i was in the market now. Got my akro from a previous forum member for a good price so i went that direction.
  16. 3 1/2 years and counting... I've had other bikes for 3 years, but have put more miles on the FJ than the others by a decent margin.
  17. I'm in Fayetteville... I've actually met up with @superfist in Suches to ride some nice roads.
  18. Really?? I have ridden in a pair of Alpinestars SP8 for the last 3 years.. they are definitely worn but not more than I would have expected. Should I look elsewhere for my next pair of gloves?
  19. Seems like a good application for the platform.
