  2. The old saying goes "What you pay for is what you get", most is to do with quality and additives within the oil, not only the brand, the oil i use at the moment is Rock Oil

  5. I had the Roadtec 01's fitted once the OEM Dunlops wore out, so i've had them now since November one of the best tyres for the wet, ok for the dry even when pushed, would really like to compare them to the Michelin RP5's

  9. Hi Stumpy Thx for the reply. I already have a Sargeant seat fitted and soon to have an Ohlins rear shock as well, just thought a better rear shock might smooth out the ride a little giving a bit more comfort
  10. Hi all As anyone who as changed the rear shock noticed a different if the ride is more comfortable with or without a seat change as well
  11. In the original brochure for the Tracer it was recommended by Yamaha not to fit a top box, this was either because of the weak shock or a top box could act as an airbrake causing the bike to squat at the rear end at speed, but in Yamaha's accessory catalogue they sell the rack and top box

  14. I have the TomTom 500, best bike sat nav I've had, program the routes via the phone app is best way. I have it plugged into a KTM power socket i had fitted on my Tracer, I didn't want to go down the route of connecting to an aux plug, just my preference, i also use it in the car as well

  16. UK i usually nod, when in France or Belgium either hand out with 2 fingers or leg out, as now shown on French and Belgium motorway signs as an appreciation to motorist for letting a motorcyclist to overtake them
  17. Maybe road surfaces are all weather, the grip is good in all weather but very abrasive on tyres, especially dual compound tyres that can have a soft edge
