  1. Maybe add a heating pad while you are at it? Click and scroll down... https://saddlemen.com/index.php?category_id=0&search=heater&submit_search=&route=product%2Fsearch
  2. Recieved a Top Sellerie Deluxe Grand Comfort Heated Seat for my Niken GT. Excellent workmanship, looks so much better than stock. Cost to USA from France was about $535 USD, thats about 492euros (Eu367 for seat +Eu125 for shipping) after a 10% discount. On top of this you have to send in your stock seat as they work from it's base. I didn't want to part with my Niken GT seat, so I picked up a new sport seat online for about $125 which I shipped to TopSellerie. So in total the cost for me was around $725USD. They only request the stock seat base and foam, so I removed the cover from the stock seat for future use if needed. There are two wires (red and black) for the heated pad. A note included suggests not connecting them directly to the battery but to add a relay (10A fuse). I think the relay/inline fuse should be included from the factory. I use a Fuzeblock so not really an issue for me. I won't get to ride with it till the snow clears here in NE Pennsylvania, but so far my observation from sitting on it in the garage is that it feels good. However since it has a bucket type design you get one position. I liked to sit back on the GT stock seat for riding and slide forward for stops so I could reach the ground with my short inseam. You sit into the Top Sellerie seat so there is no sliding back. The passenger seat is flatter in design which I'm guessing would offer more comfort back there. I really like how the front of the seat hugs the gas tank, however the front underside leaves a little gap which I'm hoping will close in after a few miles of me sitting on. When ordering I clicked on a red picture of the Niken seat on the Top Sellerie website and added a note to say I wanted the same in blue. They emailed me back and forth about a dozen times to clarify the exact shade of blue I wanted, and the surface finish on the different panels of the seat. They made sure there was no doubt about what I was getting before the sale was finalized, as they sent color codes and pictures of the expected end product. There is a seat build out option on the website that I had overlooked so I do appreciate the excellent customer service there offered in this regard. I will update this post when I get a ride in and test the heat option. https://www.topsellerie.com/en-mv/deluxe-seat-SGC5734-yamaha-niken-gt_1298.html
  3. Did you see on the website they offer free screens to those who bring in a motorcycle model they don't have yet. Maybe you could ride down there? ๐Ÿ˜
  4. Complete the look, I vote for the red panels on the panniers and hand guards. https://www.colorrite.com/product/yamaha-redline-4156.cfm
  5. Zack talks about and explains the CP3 2nd gear 'bog' at 19:07 albeit on the XSR900....
  6. Send a link of the one you got and if we have the same one we can post a pic of it completed. There is also a video of assmbly in the amazon link above.
  7. This form has two search boxes. One for the thread you may be viewing and one in the top right corner that searches the whole forum. Try this.....
  8. Impressive mod devaspotato. I could see doing something similar and add a heat seater at the same time.
  9. There is one online seller of Moto stuff that has held my money for a few weeks at a time. The items I needed were listed as in stock, so I ordered them. Approaching the advertised delivery day I get an email to say the item is now out of stock and should be available soon, and I will be updated with the new delivery date when it's on it's way. This went on for 2 months when I ordered a Yamaha heated seat for my Niken. I finally cancelled the order and put it down to Covid. It happened again with another item but I cancelled that order immediately when told the item was on back order. I can only imagine how much money this company is holding if they do this on a regular basis. The company that sells moto 'PART's sounds like gon'ZILLA'
  10. I just read that waterproof gloves will no longer be waterproof, if used with heated grips in the rain. Anyone experience this? It seems this is not an issue for heated gloves as the heat is inside, whereas heated grips provide heat from the outside. Who has the scientific explanation for this?
  11. You can get an owners manual here... Yamaha Library
  12. 2015-17 seats and 2019+ seats are different and not compatible. I once purchased a corbin for my 2017 FJ-09 that would not fit not fit, turn out it was from a 2019.
  13. Like you I would like to add a '23 for when I'm back in Youghal next week but that would be nuts, for the few weeks a year that I am there. Is your 2023 on display somewhere that I may go look? Maybe they will let me take it down the Vee for a test run? ๐Ÿ˜ I went with the $25 dollar option for mud-flaps, and like the improvement. MudWing
  14. Excellent review. Highly recommended if that what you are looking for. Daily Rider review
  15. I'm so envious. Please update us with your findings.
  16. We had a dry day with 49F in NE PA today, so I wrapped up and got an hour of riding in. It was the therapy I needed as I can't wipe the grin from my face. Flood watch tomorrow and temps in the low 30's overnight, so Monday may be a mess. Probably my last ride of the year, so glad to get one more ride in for the season.
  17. How many inches of a difference did it make and did you lower the front of the bike also? What is your inseam measurement?
  18. I think the regular Tracer900 forum has been hijacked?
  19. It's deal season. How about a new 2022 Tracer 9 GT for $3000 off list? NEW 2022 GT on sale
