My culmination of this winters work-

+1 tooth front sprocket

Seat mod

Taller windscreen

.9 fork springs/ oil change

Spark plugs

Air filter

TB balance

Coolant change

Front Fenda Extenda

I have a block of wood wrapped in a cloth under the back of the tank to hold it up from the low hanging sides from scraping against the plastic side fenders.

I put a hockey puck style chunk of rubber here to keep the tank from resting on the fuel nipple.

And the most impressive thing of all?  That I am able to post all these pictures on this forum!!

Im super excited with the plethora of these winter changes I made on this bike!  I went for a 100ish mile ride and while everything is subtle the overall effect is awesome and very welcome!  The bike is smooth and calm compared to its last summers version.  Its going to be a great tourer this summer.

Last night i installed the FJR foot pegs.  I had a set of "pull-on" rubber covers from another bike just to try to see if it quells the vibes a bit with the stock pegs and it did.  They rotate on the peg a little so I knew they weren't permanant- thus the new foot pegs.

One thing I noticed though- it seems like the left side peg is tilted forward more than the right, just a little.. that might bother me.

You may try too loosen the hex bolt behind the left footpeg and twist it , I used 3 extensions on my ratchet from brake side when i changed my gear lever .

What lever is that I've been looking for one I tried another and it wouldn't work waste of money but it was like 20 bucks

I also have the toe peg rubber with the flat side and my ADV foot pegs

I like the pegs a lot because they're wider provide more support and don't vibrate

The lever are from Ali express , it was 36 $ with shipping , I have big feet so i wanted a longer one , on my previous tracer 7 i cut and welded in a 2 cm piece , but on this bike its aluminium and i dont weld aluminium. The bolt in the blue circle need to be shorter.

Isn’t there some sort of keyway in there or something preventing that from just twisting?

There is but you can move it several mm . Loosen ,align and tighten the bolt . It worked for me . I still have snow and ice in my driveway and the roads are full of gravel . I am jealous of you who can ride almost year round .

Today I added my newly modified Russell. They lowered it some for me. No pics of that though. I forgot.

I also finished up adding a Whelen Micron third brake. Stainless plate sandwiched between the tag and the tag bracket. I angled it down a bit to tame the brightness some. I really love these Whelens. Added a silicone tag frame as well. Two reflective tag bolts broke on me when taking them off. So I need to wait for more to show up.

That was pretty easy. I had locktite on that bolt from when I had it apart greasing the pivot.  I rotated it just a bit and didn’t even break the locktite loose. It just spun a little on its keyway.

I added some much needed (imo) traction pads to the side of the bike just below the tank.  A place to squeeze with my legs when the going gets rough or sporty.  This bike needed something…  So I added some Stomp universal grip pads. They actually don’t pop as much as my camera shows.

Today was first ride this season.  Bike was originally matt blue but i prefer gloss blue so i sprayed it this winter . I got a good deal on new seats for 50$ so i carved out some foam and put in a 2cm gel pad and some extra padding in front.  And the seats have blue stitching so im happy with that . I also did the lift mod on the driver seat .

Last year when i was riding in 4th gear about 60-70 kmh it felt not smooth , like the chain was worn . I got a qoute for ECU flash with Dyno run for 650 $ , so I ordered rapid bike easy for 150 $ . Today i plugged it in and it was smoother , not wow smoother but noticable . New picture in the sun so the blue pop  , i also painted the cover by the headlight .

Looks great....I like it. I am considering painting my matt blue Niken. The matt paint is hard to maintain.
