Supporting Member betoney Posted January 6 Supporting Member Share Posted January 6 The forecast calls for possible low land snow within a few days so I need to ride when I can, it was high 40's (F) and sunny this morning so I couldn't pass up a riding opportunity. I got home and decided to give 'Big Red' some love as well, so back out for another ride in the sunshine. 2 3 ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***

Nice photos... and some lucky breaks with the weather you're having. Noticed the FJ is missing the front sprocket cover. I am guessing this is intentional?

I am guessing this is intentional? I tried a few different gearing changes, 15T, 16T and 17T and didn't bother to put it back on. Its sitting on the work bench waiting for my laziness to pass... 🤣 1 ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***

Lovely photos as usual. 👍 I was going to ask the same question about that sprocket cover but the "...waiting for my laziness to pass" does it for me too.
enx
Yesterday was a nice and sunny winter day, so I had to wake up my tracer. The roads are still very dirty and salty🫣
Supporting Member texscottyd Posted February 8 Supporting Member Share Posted February 8 I got out for about 250 brisk miles on Sunday, with a long-time friend and riding companion. Between the two of us, we brought 300+ horsepower, 7 cylinders, 1 supercharger, and 100+ combined years of riding experience to the party. 😀 It’s always fun to log some backroad miles with someone you know and trust… 2
Premium Member 2and3cylinders Posted February 8 Premium Member Share Posted February 8 Scott I can't figure out what your buddy is riding it's a newer one with the green space frame obviously a Kawasaki I can just see the top of the blower some close-up shots would be appreciated What do you figure your fastest red 15 is putting out $105 at the rear wheel with about 62? pounding feet? It's nice having a buddy you cync with! Bend over backwards to keep them in the game and hopefully he'll reciprocate How many times have you been on those roads can you count over the years That's why having CTE is fun because old roads can be new again I rewatch the season of MotoGP and it's a new race every time Tomorrow again it's supposed to get up to 54 and sunny But I think the bottom is going to drop out after tomorrow hopefully we won't be in a deep freeze 10 days again that was enough for anyone over the age of 60 and you dream of being somewhere warm you can ride

Detuned to ‘only’ 197 horsepower, but with a 100+ foot-pound torque curve that will pull your arms out of their sockets. Stupid quick; crazy fun. 😀 Kelly is 74, and still rides VERY well. He’s quick, smooth, efficient, and always in control. It gives me hope that I have another 15 or 20 years of motorcycling in my future. 3

Supporting Member piotrek Posted March 1 Supporting Member Share Posted March 1 Took the bike out for our first ride of 2024. The shock came back from service and I managed to finish things up last weekend. The fork re-valve works great, and the clutch basket is finally nice and quiet. New LiFePO4 battery... cranks mad. Feels good to be on the bike again. 🙂 6
Rick123
It happened to me February 9-th and 3 times after that. Today was first one in March. Over 600 km so far this season. Edited March 2 by Rick123
