For the first time since I have my Tracer it is quiet. I used to ride with the saddle up because I am 6'3 and although I have the Yamahas touring screen and a small wind deflector I got a lot of noise on top of the helmet. No vibration but wind noise. Now I tryed with the saddle down and the wind deflector up like 1-2 cm and with the screen in the highest position it is much, much better! Now, the wind deflector is just below my eyes lever when the screen is all the way up.

Now with Shad SH35 cases they are very solid and nice looking but the problem is that I can't lock them. The key won't rotate. I don't know why...

I'm not that sensitive! While I have to admit that my expectations was too high I don't think the belly pan is ugly. I thought the look will get much better but it is.... on the same level, just different

I just made one in my garage. The cheapest one on internet would cost 60 euros (shipping included). I paid 20-25 euros for the parts... If you don't like the ideea you can check the link below. I think the shipping cost is 10 euros. TRACER 900/GT 2018 -2019 ...

I'v painted the belly pan in the same colour as the gas tank. in the second picture the sun was very strong and the angle of the bash plate make it show a different colour (like the small part under the seat) but the colour is in fact the same as the OEM colour.

You guys are referring to the GT as the one with the longer wheelbase but all Tracers 900 from 2018 (GT or not) have the same longer swing arm, right?

I would say the touring screen from Yamaha, heated grips, aux. lights, cruise control/ throttle lock and radiator protection. Check out my mods:

I think it is a 30V lightbar, right? In tis case it draws 2.5 Amps which is pretty low.

I have the Givi but on a 2018 model. It feels sturdy, it covers a lot and it has 4 mounting points.

This thing Rörfäste | Vinklingsbart | HAMRON | Jula ... I think I used the 50mm one. As you can see it is articulated, easyer to level. So the led bar is atached to the fork!

The Shad top box rack is on! This thing is so heavy! 4550g (10lbs)! I am sure I can seat on it without any problems. I can not understand why it has to be so heavy. The same with the Givi rear spray guard. Now I realise that I added 18kg (40lbs) to the bike with all the accesories 😣 It is easy to remove the rack. Just unscrew two screws on the left mount, two on the right and two on top. Yes! Shad and Givi use them. Even if you use the Yamaha panniers you will need a piece for the third mounting point. The Shad 3P system is the most subtle except the Yamaha one.

Yap! The battery or the screws that holds the cables conected to the battery terminals. They have a tendency to loosen up. It happened to me.

What is the colour code of the nimbus gray? All I could find was this: Bluish gray solid 4, BNS4, number: 3985

I have the the Caberg Drft Evo Carbon and Bell Race Star (tracer colour scheme ) Caberg is very light, lighter than the Bell. I use it more often the Caberg as I never finish insalling my second Cardo system in the Bell, never had the time to install the pin lock and the Bell does'nt have the sun visor. When i ride to work I have the sun in my face, when I come back same story. The Caberg feels noisyer than the Bell and less ventilated. You can feel the quality (and the price) in every aspect of the Bell helmet but all in all i think the Caberg is a better all arround helmet because of the price difference (Caberg 300 euros, Bell 700€ ) I do not wear ear plugs as the ride to the job tajes only 15 minutes and only half of this time or less is on the highway

Socket in a drill, drill in a vice and work it with file or angle grinder until desired wall thickness! It worked for me

Hello! This is my first bike, a 2018 Tracer 900. Just wanted to show it to you with the accessories that I added and share my thoughts about them. I ordered the bike with heated grips and touring screen because of the multitude of negative reviews about the original screen. The right grip gets much hotter than the left one and this is a big let down. The service guys think that is because of the plastic tube on the right side that acts like an insulator... The touring screen is fine, no buffeting or vibrations at all but I get a constant wind noise on top of the helmet. If I open the air intake on the top of the helmet it gets quite loud (without ear plugs). I was surprised about how quiet it was on a bike with no screen at all. I added a wind deflector from Wunderlich (Vario Ergo 3D) but it made little to no difference. I am 6'3'' long and as you can see in the last pictures I'm probably to long for this setup (the screen is in the highest position and I usually ride i a more up right position) If I look through the deflector the image is a bit deformed because of the angles and curvature. For how expensive this thing is I expected more. The central mounting piece gets in the line of view a bit. The good part is that the bugs gets deflected from my visor and just some of them sicks to the top of the helmet. If I had to choose again I would probably try the deflector from Puig The led bar is rated at 40W and produces 3000 lumen. It has a wide beam pattern and my plan was to use it in the day to be more visible. After a long trip in the dark of the night I quickly realized that the Tracers low beam is not good enough so I will probably try another bar with a ''driving beam'' pattern. The Givi crash bars looks and feels very solid. Relative easy to install. The Givi belly pan/bash plate is also solid. I get it only for the looks. I plan to paint it in the same color as the tank. It reflects a good amount of engine noise up to my ears. I was surprised by this. It is more difficult to mount than the bars and a pain in the a... to align the pan with the 4 supports in order to get all the 8 screws in place. The Givi spray guard is also for the looks. It is super, super solid (both the metal bars and the glass fiber reinforced plastic guard)... an overkill in my opinion. The Bagtecs X16 pillion saddle bag is a very nice and practical addition because the under seat space is good for nothing. The 10cm/4 inch rear mudguard extension is made by me from a piece of black plastic. I get less water on the rear shock. In the front I have the specific Puig fender extender. Next on the list is a radiator guard and Shad rack for the top case. I will probably try the Givi big touring screen. The problem is that I can't get rid of the thought that I am too big for this bike In the last picture I have the slim summer gear om me. With the jacket, pants and boots for the cold weather I look much bigger and then I only think about a bear on a bicycle at the circus.
