Mind getting a profile shot further away?
I'll do it when I get home.

@ffdriver2 I noticed that you have the Puig front deflectors. Those things are hideously expensive for a piece of plastic, do they do anything? or just for looks?

:D Yes they are expensive for what they are. And as far as I can tell they really don't do anything but add a bit of coverage to the ugly open area behind the headlight, which has always bothered me for some reason. It looked unfinished. Kinda like they got bored or it was a Friday before a 3 day weekend and they said F**k it that's good enough.  :-/

I like the look of them, but really for what they are they should be $50-$70.  ???

For a moment wished my FJ was a KZ.  I'm 51 and the very first bike I went over 100mph (112 to be exact) on was a 1977 Kawasaki KZ900.  I was 12 at the time and was a passenger - something no parent in a million years would allow a 12 year old to do today.  We have a drive-in bike / bar park in Rochester and when I saw this pull in yesterday i was overwhelmed with "blast from the past" emotions.  Immediately went over and talked to the owner, as I wasn't sure if it was brand new or in fact a 1977.  It's a pristine 1977 - immaculate would be a better description.  Motor just rebuilt and bored out - so now it's even faster than it was. - lol.

Took a 300 mile fall foliage ride through NH and northern VT. Spectacular color and some thrilling riding.

Those are new Michelin Pilot Road 5s I’m putting on my bike. I have loved the Pilot Road 4s that these are replacing (7,411 miles of rather spirited use), and everything I’ve heard makes me think the PR5s are going to be even better.
