  1. I'm still in the no beak group 😁... Kinda reminds me of the scene from Billy Madison movie when everyone thinks it's cool to pretend to "pee your pants" just cause everyone else is now running up to the water fountain to put water on front of pants...
  2. Different brands cater to different head shapes(such as round head vs oval head)... I really like my AGV K5...
  3. Welcome... You definitely got "wings" now- these tracers just wanna fly...
  4. Totally not true... I got OEM heated grips and Brandon Dist cruise control ( same as the McCruise- just different wiring harness and switch block)...
  5. Order some Gilles rear axle nuts for both of my bikes.... 😁 No more stupid "tangs" inside the nut, whoever thought of this should be relocated to the last lvl of Satan domain forever fixing stripped axles due to the nut he/she created... Edit: this is a group buy on the MT-07 forum... Yes the MT-07 and Tracer900 share the same axle nuts and hand controls... Sadly the foot controls and chain adjustment are totally different between the bikes... just spreading the good news... GILLES Group Buy has been decided! Click Here! - BellissiMoto - Exotic Parts for All Motorcycles - The FZ-07 Forum ...
  6. You can use a universal fit ones, 2WDW sells a "bundle" with exhaust, tune and QS kit from 2 sources such as Woolich or FTecu... Even HealTech makes a pretty nifty QS... I currently run the Woolich Race Kit on my 2015 with Graves Exhaust and even the ECU was tuned using Woolich software- Woolich is another tuning software 2WDW has in it arsenal... This is a pretty decent made QS(sensor and it's housing housing) by Cordona... And it works on both up and downshifts or GP style shift pattern... To not use the QS- just unplug the connection...
  7. Even now I bet there is snow in the Rockies... Let's hope out EU riders can complete the challenge...
  8. That was quick...was gonna check back in a few days... Your pic idea next to a sign showing over 2500m is a good one... Or 8200ft for the ones who use non metric systems...
  9. Congratulations... I still own my little ole HP-07( Hordpower -07)... Somedays I park the the "big bike"... Something about that little ole HP-07 just keeps you coming back for more... And yes I agree the stock suspension is better than the stock FZ-07 suspension by a margin but it could be better- for me( barely over 175# suited up) its good but not decent/better than it could be... K-tech razor R shock and fork kit has been on my wish list but keeps getting pushed back... But you will find the Tracer900 is a pretty remarkable "Swiss army" knife...can do track days, commute, canyon runs, multi day trips... Even a few have been captured in the wild crossing creeks in search of BIGFOOT 😅
  10. Correct... 61' Impala... I had to make it a little tricky to ID the car, the " flat bat wing " on the truck or pic of the front end would be to easy 😁 @texscottyd had the idea it wasn't not a Ford - he noticed the round door corners...
  11. For me, Yamaha has always had the most "direct feeling" connection to the motor- now with the new "CP" style motors that firing order gives the feeling the engine is always ready to go/hyper active caged animal... I have had to retrain the right wrist and riding style- stay on the outside and carry the speed past the conga line on the inside 😁... With the other traditional firing orders and traditional counter balance, the feeling of connection was easy going... I agree to some extent fed regs/rules of market areas make the littte annoying niggles some people find with fueling to drive em nuts... Closed Course fueling is 100000% how any fueling should be from the factory but reality says otherwise...
  12. @piotrek , @texscottyd..think Chevy 😋... You both are very close in the "year" as it's a 1961
  13. Mmm nope, good guess... I think the Fairlane came out a few years after this model year was made...
  14. This one is too easy... Got a old bird parked next to my bike daily ... Let's see if any of you name the car 😁...
  15. I agree, but funds for the wish list have been somewhat lacking... Life 🙄
  16. Welcome fellow Michigander... Stock suspension is okay(ish) if one is under 170# suited- I know the roads around grand rapids got repaved vs last 2yrs, so they are smooth by our standards...the suspension is okay but could be better- I got ktech rear shock on drop in fork parts on my wish list... Kinda sucks the last 4-5wks now have been nothing but rain and double whammy of a Nor'easter which is eating into my last few weeks of riding season...
  17. Check autopart stores/hardware stores/farm stores... Just match em up, for amp rating and style/type...
  18. Cruise Control should help keep the MPG steady... But I know everyone rides a bit different... Shouldn't it be about grins per mile??? Leave the MPG battle to the mopeds 😅
  19. Change fluid if it's over 2yrs old, bleed em good... Next solution is some HH pads Next is caliper spacers to run 320mm rotors 😁
  20. He's located in Las Vegas USA... Legit company... I also think he relocated within Las Vegas recently to a better shop...
  21. Twisted breather hose? I had that similar problem- I should have noticed the "airbox" whine noise but definitely noticed it when I untwisted the breather hose....
  22. Totally normal... A few of us have the same marking in this area-
  23. I dunno your riding habits but have you used the engine/gearbox to help slow down rapidly or use the rear brake more? Or bleed the system or replace with fresh fluid if over 2-3yrs old , suspension/setup also plays a decent part in how well a bike stops...These really don't cost any money/time but I would say go to HH pads and or bigger 320mm R1 rotors if you can find some spacers as the next step... I still got my spacers sitting on the shelf I brought a few years ago during a group buy...
  24. A few peeps have done this- some have gone further and mixed the BBs in silicone to fill the handlebar... My biggest vibration maker was the front sprocket damping donut and removing the stock handguards reduced the vibrations/wind dancing...
