My trail cage has the same issues. There are multiple welds that are not fully closed up, and the areas around them instantly began to rust and powder coat flaking off. Emailed him about (I also won mine) never heard anything in response. At some point I'll likely take it off, sand blast it, and have a friend with a tig welder complete and inspect all of the welds to make sure its closed up tight and then get them re coated. It's the point where the three tubes meet, which is likely one of the factors in his redesign with less tubes and more flat plate.

I need to check it out next time I'm out that way!

Yeah the roads are really great all through the smokey's and more! I need to spend more time out there for sure

Man, I grew up in Florida and rode in it for years, but god damn it's too hot for me in Tennessee this summer to be doing a ton of riding...

One of my riding buddies bought a red one same model and he loves it! It's a surprisingly comfortable sport bike we cranked out a long 400 mile day not long after he got his!

Honestly, the weekend I went was not bad at all. Hit it about noon on a Sunday and it was pretty open surprisingly

I believe the cause of this is oil not up to operating temps yet.

I went with the Givi touring screen. It's great for killing the wind noise and in the winter keeping the wind off of your body!

Honestly surprised you didn't see more. When I was out there last month, I saw 3 wrecks on a Sunday, one sport bike on the Cherohala, and two full dresser harleys (we all know they can't turn) one on 28 near Fontana Dam and another on Tail of the Dragon, 129.... All in corners, don't think any were seriously injured but first responders were already on scene for all wrecks.

Ah there it is, First segmented concrete arch bridge in the US. Not sure if y'all read the section about "Suicide Bridge", I wasn't aware that was a problem until about a year ago... There only been one survivor. Big push to add taller railings on it.

Natchez Trace bridge, I believe it’s like the tallest or longest concrete span in the US
