I put a wind deflector on my stock screen, too. Quite happy with it.

I don't think I've loved any motorcycle, but I do love motorcycles.

I put it in B mode for the first time today. It's a great mode for the rain. Yes, it still gets up and scoots, though you have to twist the throttle more. I like A mode the best. 😈

Seat Slope Mod

I just got the Yamaha comfort seat. I'm calling it a significant improvement over stock. I also did the slope mod to it.

You go out to eat lunch 150 miles from home.

My wife is 5'2" and I also have a 2019 base model. We don't have that issue. Huh.

I wouldn't hesitate to to take my Tracer from coast to coast solo. No way I'd do it two up. Not on the Tracer.

Is that extension cord powering all those lights? 🙂 BTW, I want that black cowling. I checked with my dealer here in the US. They can't order them.

I ordered the oem led turn signals from a 2021 MT07 through Ron Ayers. Just got an email this morning that they've been shipped.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I found this thread searching for ideas or solutions to make a 12v plug not vibrate loose and lose power connection to the Yamaha 12v outlet. For those who don't want to hardwire or need a quick solution here's what I did. No modifications to the the bike. I went to the local hardware store and purchased a pvc plug/end-cap that had a large enough diameter to nicely fit over the 12v male plug. I drilled a hole in the top of it large enough to fit the power cable through. Now you have a skirt that will fit over the 12v plug. I then drilled a small hole off center into the pvc piece to hold a small bungee. I also had to shorten the small bungee, but that was easy, too. There's a nice metal bracket under the instrument panel to hook the other end of the bungee to. It works wonderfully. I may eventually hardwire it, but this works for now.

Put my '19 Tracer on the center stand last night to lube the chain, running and in gear. I have a check engine light now. 🙁

Then I'd say a trip to the hardware store is in order. If I raised the tank anymore I'd go with longer bolts.

Check out the OEM turn signals from the 2021 MT07. $33 a piece from Ron Ayers. That's the route I'm going.

Options are good! I'm amazed at the clever remedies and the workmanship that has gone into them.
