  1. The motor has been available for several years in snowmobiles and UTV's, long enough for the aftermarket to offer both turbo and supercharger packages... oh, the possibilities. 😎👍 Agency Power YXZ 1000R Supercharger Kit (AP-YXZ-90) | UTVSource.com UTV Source carries the best in aftermarket side by side parts and...
  2. You could swap the pads to an HH compound with more friction. I would make sure everything is cleaned, inspected and serviced first, I find it fairly easy to activate the ABS on the rear already.
  3. Ive thought the exact same thing for a few years now, a 1000cc Tracer would be awesome.
  4. Welcome, I think you will love the bike. Before riding the bike, I cant recommend any accessories YET, except a radiator guard. Buy a good quality guard to prevent any potential issues.
  5. Yeah, I got one in Happy Camp and Willow Creek as well... and then had to stop for a "Bigfoot Burger". LOVE that area.👍
  6. How do you like the SW-Motech plate? Its kind of difficult to fully see all of the mount brackets but do you think they would hold up (not deform or collapse) to a decent hit from the bottom?
  7. Just a few more artist renderings to keep things interesting...
  8. That is interesting, I like new models and having options to choose from. I find it interesting that they refer to it as a 'sport bike', I wonder if that means an MT09 with clip-ons and a front cowl? or an actual sport tune on the engine?
  9. The good news is you can return it to him and you don't need a receipt. 😄 Hi-Viz yellow with grey or black is one thing but mixing the yellow and orange is just TOO LOUD.
  10. I tried putting that into Google Translate and the only result I got was "WTF?" 🤷‍♀️
  11. I would like to see Honda do the same, an upscale version of their 500x, maybe make a 700-800cc purpose built mini Africa Twin? Just thinking out loud... 🤷‍♀️
  12. @hammer - So glad you got this figured out. Sometimes it takes a 2nd or 3rd set of eyes on something to see the not-so-obvious. A big thumbs up to @piotrek for taking the time to offer assistance.😎👍
  13. A ground up purpose-built adventure-ish bike with their 650 P2 motor would be great. Even if they just updated the Versys 650 and offered a separate street and 'adventure' version, it would be a nice bike.
  14. I hope you find them as useful as I do. I truly use them at least once every time I ride.
  15. Its still not too late. Monday morning, weaving in and out of traffic during the morning commute...? Break up the monotony.
  16. Welcome, congrats on the new bike. There is a lot of collective knowledge and help available here. Enjoy!
  17. I don't have any experience with them as I have never used one, only followed the product from the dirt bike world. I'm not sure if it is the G2 model specifically but one of them came with multiple, interchangeable cam's with different profiles for different terrain. The rougher the track, the shallower the cam profile and the opposite for a smoother track.
  18. Maybe it is just the camera perspective but something looks very wrong in that photo. Everything looks crooked.
  19. That screen is the Puig Sport Touring screen for a Gen II FZ1, my previous bike. I had to drill new holes to modify it to fit
  20. Agreed, I have had the $10 Tusk bleeder for over 10 years now and use it on all of my past and present street and dirt bikes. Save the money for gas and tires.
  21. Yes, exactly the same principal, just 2x the cost. 🤷‍♀️
  22. I don't want to preach or criticize but brake service is extremely straight forward, watch a Youtube video and DIY!! Save yourself $150. 23. Glad to hear that the adjustment helped you, I set mine to 12 and really like the difference. On the FZ09 forum, one of the popular options to smooth out the throttle transition is a G2 Throttle Tamer. It has a cam shaped profile which alters the initial cable pull so it isn't a 1:1 ratio.
