  1. They just set the sag, compression and rebound for my weight and riding style. Then I took the bike for a test ride, they got it spot on the first time. Real nice people and it only cost $60.00.
  2. I finally got of my butt and had the suspension set up on my GT. I have been using Washington Cycle Works in NJ ( they specialize in race and track-day bike suspension work) for quite a few of my bikes and I'm a big fan of their work. I knew the stock set up was off but I didn't realize how far off it was. The one hour ride home turned into three and half hours on everything from twisty's to rough back roads. I'm more than happy for now with the suspension and can't wait to put on the PR5's sitting in my garage.
  3. The hell with the elevation changes, the whole state of Florida doesn't have a dozen good turns in it.
  4. Welcome to the forum @Bcutter ... Who would have thought losing 400 pounds could have been so easy. Enjoy your new Tracer!
  5. @TheBigG, You do kind of look like Big bird on your Tracer. Luckily at 6'3'' on my Tracer GT I just kind of look like a fat turd☺️
  6. Heat Demon makes a great product. You will get years of service out of them!
  7. Welcome to the forum Gabriel! Sounds like you have done a lot of mods on your Tracer. Search the posts on seats, the Yamaha comfort gel seat was not to well reviewed. Enjoy the ride!
  8. Welcome to the forum @Aminochelat. You made a great choice in the Tracer 900GT.
  9. Welcome to the forum from Pennsylvania @Jdenkevitz, Glad to hear you love your new Tracer. ENJOY!
  10. I have the 705s on my KLR and i'm very happy with them. But the KLR is horsepower challenged, Hope they don't vaporize on the back of your FJ09.
  11. Welcome to the Forum, Caracole The wind noise on the Tracer is very bad. Good luck on the wind screens, I'm on my third wind screen and still not happy.
  12. Put the SLICK chip in turn off the traction control off and have some real fun👍
  13. Just remember one of the worst things you can do to a new engine is lugging it during break- in.
  14. I have the same liners and they work very well and make unloading and loading the bike at the motel a breeze.
  15. You have a great new bike @superfist - I had a 14 S1000rr that I loved. I traded it in for the 900GT, after having 12 plates put in my neck. I could no longer ride and enjoy her in the way she needs to be ridden. For sure the one of the saddest day in my life. ENJOY!
  16. Looks like you had a great day @phpaul, thanks for the pictures 👍
  17. Welcome @Crossplane Pilot glade to hear you like your new GT. I have 6000mi on mine and am still in love with it. Enjoy the ride!
  18. That O2 senser looks like it took a good hit if you didn't do that damage taking it off. I would replace it, you have the Denso part number you might be able to buy it at an auto part store cheaper than the Yamaha dealership
  19. Check to see if the bike is showing any codes.
  20. I hope Yamaha picks another color for the U.S. market. I'm not really I fan of the color of my 19 GT ( I don't like black bikes) but it sure looks better than that.
  21. I avoid the Dunlop Wobbel & Weave by putting on Michelin tires. This has worked with every new bike, I have owned that came with oem Dunlop tires.
  22. @pfa230 I used the Yamaha rear rack for the same reason you want one, not that ugly. I used the Givi E251 universal monokey top case mounting.
