  1. Just a suggestion, at least try them for a while with out the grip puppies. They are very comfortable with great tactile feel, especially with thinner Summer gloves. If you don't like them its easy enough to then install the grip puppies.
  2. Good job, nothing wrong with Ohlins. Coupled with the Andreani forks (and proper setup) the suspension will completely transform your riding experience. 👍
  3. Those grips are AWESOME! If I didnt have the oem heated grips, I would use those again.
  4. @dazzler24 - I also believe that those are for the heated grips. What are you wanting to install? Like @captainscarlet mentioned, there are several 2A switched connectors available behind the screen.
  5. MT-09 13 - 16 o2 Oxygen Sensor Eliminator ... The O2 sensor which is installed in the stock exhaust systems of motorcycles are used by the Manufacturer to adjust the fuelling in order to pass the emission tests for street homologation. This is done only in a very limited RPM range under certain load situations. The intention behind it is not to improve the performance of the machine. It's aimed to reduce the emissions of the engine in the specific RPM/Load situations which are tested during the homologation process. This can result in delayed throttle response or unsteady power delivery. If you replace your silencer or exhaust system or fuelling, it's suggested to remove the installed sensor and replace it with this eliminator. The eliminator simulates the signal given from the O2 sensor under optimal A/F ratio conditions. This allows the bike to run under best performance conditions. If you install an aftermarket exhaust, remove the catalyst, install a power commander or perform similar modifications we strongly suggest installation of an O2 sensor eliminator for the best performance of your machine.
  6. @OLDESTP - When considering a tail tidy (fender eliminator) you are going to have to compromise if you want to use the oem side bags. You can't tuck the signals/license plate in close to the brake light and still have them visible behind the side bags, they will only be visible directly behind the bike. If you keep the bags on all of the time then it isn't that big of an issue using the oem lights/fender as it doesn't look as horrible.
  7. That's definitely a good resource to have but I don't like their limited zoom level, I cant see the small parts very well compared to other websites. The most useful parts diagram I have used over the years is from Rockymountainatvmc Variable zoom level and each part on the diagram has a pop-up with price and option to "add to cart". I also use their parts diagram when doing maintenance, and verify exact install order to myself "I need a gasket, bushing, spacer, washer and nut".
  8. @DavidS - Local dealer down in Olympia said they were hoping for 1st week of February.
  9. Wolfman Motorcycle Luggage - Premium Motorcycle Bags Made in the USA ...
  10. I have never needed a heated seat, I have used my insulated riding pants down into the 20's(F) and never been cold below the abdomen. I agree on heated gear though, I have a vest and it is AWESOME. It has 5 heat settings and have never needed it higher than 1, it gets HOT. Very true, when you are warm you are relaxed, when freezing cold, I am tense with clenched muscles and shivering. I have a buddy who also says "its too cold for me, I need to get heated gear" and for 3 years I have told him how much of a difference my heated grips and vest makes, yet he will never take the plunge. 🙄
  11. Look through this thread... he has posted pictures of every part number and documented every step of the install.
  12. Glad to hear that it is all functional and working as expected! 👍
  13. Not that I have any desire to ever ride on icy and snowy roads, I am curious as to how these perform in normal "commuting" type conditions, ie non-sport riding, - stoplight to stoplight, on ramps, lane changes, turns through intersections etc.
  14. Perfectly sensible to leave the bike in the garage and take the truck. 🥶
  15. I bought my '15 FJ09 3 years ago today as a new-in-crate leftover model. What a fantastic 3 years it has been with this bike. I have spent a lot of time and money making it my own but couldn't be happier with the end result. I have ridden 44,000 miles through 9 states and have never had a break-down or been left stranded, not even a flat tire or dead battery. The bike has ran flawlessly and only needed routine maintenance; 15 oil changes, 8 sets of tires and I am almost halfway through the 3rd set of chain and sprockets. I am looking forward to many more trouble-free miles.
  16. @Clicknow - Just a suggestion if you are looking for switched power, behind the screen there are several unused auxiliary plugs. I have wired in daytime running lights and hardwired my GPS, very convenient as they are only activated with the ignition.
  17. @Clicknow - Take a photo a little further back so we can see where it is located in relation to the rest of the bike. Like @skipperT said, you cant tell where it is located.
  18. Install and ride! You don't need to change or adjust anything on the bike.
  19. I agree with this. I certainly like to ride aggressively in the mountains and canyons but 110hp and 100mph is PLENTY. I "stepped down" from a liter bike and thought I would miss the adrenaline rush but the CP3 is extremely capable. I find that I actually now prefer riding a smaller bike closer to its potential than riding a bigger bike at 50-60%. There have been a few instances where I have wished for a bit more power, mostly steep uphill mountain passes but for most of my riding this bike is more than adequate to get me up to 100mph. A lot of new models like to use HP or top speed as a selling point but other than bragging rights with their buddies, where will a rider use 200HP or ride 210mph?
  20. Proper shock, indeed! Looks good. 👍 How did you get a red spring? My buddy and I both have that same Penske shock, his from Stoltec and mine from Traxxion Dynamics and they both came with dark blue springs. BTW, you are going to LOVE that shock, once it gets dialed in it is AMAZING!!
  21. To add cruise control? or to completely change to a GT? Adding cruise control requires none of those to be changed.
  22. Yes you can add all of the GT extras - heated grips, assist clutch, quick shifter, improved suspension and an aftermarket cruise control, you just cant get the color TFT screen.
