  1. I must be wrong, but in my defense HD can do it on replacement's at least that what I was told. You would think if HD can do it anybody can
  2. Go for a new one, inexpensive aftermarket instrument gauges or clusters are a pain in the ass and never seem to work perfectly. The price of a good aftermarket cluster will cost a lot more than OEM part, the dealer can transfer all the info from your old cluster to new if you want.
  3. To properly bleed the brakes on your 2019 900GT you need to run the ABS pump. That way you get all the old fluid out and the air that entered the system when you hade it opened up.
  4. I think the motorcycle has to be over 3 model years old and have over 15,000mi on the clock to be allowed to be registered in state with out being CA compliant.
  5. It should be fine and if it draws too much it will blow the fuse.
  6. Nice Wing! @micah2074and I like the color. I had a 2010 in Burgundy, but that was a pig compared to yours. Enjoy!
  7. Michelin Road 5 on mine, Hell I like them so much they are on all my bikes that have a 17" front tires.
  8. Not only don't you have to buy cases, the Givi's look great on the bike. But to me one of the best part is not having to store another set of cases in the garage.
  9. I’m kind of jealous of you Betoney, you have a bike that you can farkel up right away. I’m still waiting for stuff that I ordered 6 month’s ago for my Pan America. The VFR might be a little chunky but you will appreciate that on long highway rides and you will get use to it and won’t even think about it. ENJOY!
  10. That's a good looking fast red bike you have Mark. I think you are right thinking about the chain being the problem, a new set of sprockets and a good quality chain should cure the vibe's.
  11. You can't go wrong with 2 cool red bikes in the garage, well-done!🍺
  12. @bikelee, Pyramid also makes a rear fender extender that works well.
  13. You can get a set of signal plug converters to use from TST Industries or cut up the leads of your old signals. You don't want to cut into the bikes wiring harness.
  14. The best tools I have ever had for working on bikes is a factory shop manual for the specific bike. Mine sit right next to my tool box. Also throw in a few generic books on motorcycle electric systems, carburetor's, fuel injection and suspension. They have more than paid for them selves many times over and saved a lot of stupid, costly mistakes. I shake my head when some one goes out and spend thousands of dollars on a bike and farkels, but won't cough up the money for a workshop manual. As they say stupidity pay's.
  15. They are made in China, That is all I need to know. I would spend the extra money and buy a Yuasa.
  16. Those ATV lifts take up a lot of room and when working on a 2 wheel bike you have a lot of real-estate to reach over. There are quite a few bike lifts that have side panels that can be attached for ATV work when needed saving save floor space.
  17. Just goes to show how, alcohol can cures all of life's problems🍺
  18. That's great news! I hope Yamaha has all the parts available to get her back on the road fast.
  19. She's a beauty, glad you got her in FAST RED👍 Not that she'd be slow in any color🙂
  20. Any chance you might have gotten some gas, chain lube or some other crap on the grip. Try cleaning the grip off with isopropyl alcohol and see if that helps. I'm right handed so my right hand is always the dirty and oily one and I often get the throttle grip dirty.
  21. Those numbers don't look good, still got my fingers crossed. I wonder if the insurance company would pay out just bellow the total figure and let you keep her. Do the work yourself and make some money, or at least make her faster.
  22. Make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. I kind of get the idea from his comment it looked new, that it might not be.
  23. Got my fingers crossed that all she needs is some nice new shiny fast red plastics and tank.
  24. If you have access to good old fashion radiator repair shop, let them look at. It's amazing what those guys can do.
