I love your powder blue socks and slip-ons, are you wearing a kilt?  LOL!

When it's hot a kilt would be cool but not exactly ATGAT for riding...

Hahahaha, nah, shorts.  A kilt on a bike, mibbe need to ride sidesaddle to manage that.
They are incredibly heavy, and you'd be amazed how warm they are in cold weather, as well as cool in hot weather.

On a recent ride near Caldwell, Ohio I discovered a small park by accident.  The historical marker tells an interesting tale.

Is that where the phrase 'snake oil' comes from ? Seneca Oil.
Salt has always been so vital , all throughout human history.

Today's ride around the back roads, with a stop off at the side of a loch for a drink of lemonade.

Sure, lemonade!  In Scotland?

It's a Whiskey Sour here...

Pour one shot of whiskey in each glass. Add 1.5 tablespoons of the brown sugar simple syrup to each glass. Then squeeze half of a lemon into cocktail. Stir then top with lemon rind.

That sounds delicious, I've never had that. But when you have a good Whisky you have it straight.

True, don't use your top shelf whiskey/bourbon for mixed drinks.

I wouldn't know top shelf from swill, maybe if I had the "good stuff" I wouldn't think it tasted like bad medicine.

Now rum I know, Tequila too, unfortunately with the latter.

When it's hot us "Islanders" know hot to relax, nudge, nudge, wink, wink...and I don't just mean drinking.

In cold, wet environs I get Whiskey, Scotch, Port, Vodka, Slivovitz, etc..

Harlech castle. West Wales.     Barmouth fun land.   The road there.    ☹

Never been to Wales without the roads being heaving with bikes.
That weather looks proper miserable.
