Premium Member Henchman Posted June 2, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted June 2, 2017 I stumbled upon this yesterday. A full system that lets you retain the center stand for under $500 US. Black Widow has a YT channel with numerous videos they compiled from other 'Tubers. Grabbed [a href=http://stores.ebay.com/blackwidowexhausts/FZ-09-Tracer-/_i.html?_fsub=25766510011]this eBay link[/a] from a video.

Premium Member Henchman Posted June 2, 2017 Author Premium Member Share Posted June 2, 2017 I'll bet you its loud as phuck. You would win that bet. The pictured exhaust has the 230mm GP muffler, and it is loud (see video). Black Widow apparently offers many different muffler lengths and diameters so one can get the look/sound one desires. Haven't seen any dyno's yet tho...

beanburnham
They have low mount and high mount exhausts with 200 mm to 400 mm length cans. Doesn't have to be loud as phuck. They seem okay. A couple guys on the Facebook group have them and like them. It's based out of U.K. So hopefully engineering and build quality are good
hornetdascaldas
I was about to purchase that exact model, but I saw some reviews saying that too loud, so i got for the 300mm can with carbon look.. But my heart was going for that one.. It's just .. On my blu race .. Oh well..

Guest kernowjim
Would be interested to see that and your thoughts on build quality I just ordered a 300mm low today. patkin
OK guys got the exhaust in today and got it installed. The build quality is very nice. The instructions were pretty good. You need to fit the header pipes to the collector before installing on your bike. The video does not do enough justice as to the quality of the sound. It is much deeper sounding live. It's really not that much louder as you can see by the readings.
Premium Member 2and3cylinders Posted September 19, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted September 19, 2017 I too have been considering a Black Widow exhaust but the low 400mm unit (http://www.blackwidowexhausts.co.uk/fz09-fz-09-tracer-2013-2017-low-level-de-cat-exhaust-system-with-400mm-oval-carbon-fibre-silencer--carbon-tip-14642-p.asp) because to the human ear every 10db increase equates to 10 times louder. So at idle your'e 10 times louder than OEM, less so apparently at say 8, 000 rpm. Maybe the 350mm would be OK...http://www.blackwidowexhausts.co.uk/fz09-fz-09-tracer-2013-2017-low-level-de-cat-exhaust-system-with-300mm-oval-carbon-fibre-silencer--carbon-tip-14614-p.asp

For every increase of 10dB on the scale is equivalent to a 10-fold increase in sound intensity (which broadly corresponds with a doubling in loudness). Sound intensity is not the same as what is being perceived by the human ear. This system is by no means obnoxious even inside the garage. Now if my ear was down by where that meter was positioned then yes but if the bike was outside I don't see me getting any complaints from anyone. I think the 350mm can would stick out about 2 inches further which I wouldn't care for.
