Is this like a high score wins thing?  😇

My high speed on frosty roads will be VERY different...  Score 1-0 for Texas. 😄

Those were dark days for native peoples what day did taking children from their families and christianizing them

Not happy times and it hasn't gotten much better since in a lot of ways I'm not pointing any fingers though

Native peoples made the best of the situation and then went along for the ride but in the end assimilation was unsuccessful

It was all about land and money and while they thought they were helping white man never understood and still doesn't

I've just got this as my "alternative bike"  Not competing with the tracer and ticking different boxes.  The fun is off the scale.  Getting dirty down the muddy tracks is great fun.

I just found this CRF450L for sale semi-locally.  @koth442 I’m sure you would approve:

Have it.  👍

That’s why I love this place... everyone here is so supportive of my needs!  :)

It’s perhaps a bit over-priced, but there’s also no way I could build one for what they’re asking.  I’ll ponder until Tuesday when the shop opens & maybe give them a call to discuss...

My pants are suddenly quite tight.

I know, right?   It’s exactly the one I would build myself, as a next-gen replacement for my beloved (but long gone) XR400 motard.

Unfortunately, it’s not as semi-local as I thought:  I saw Hillsboro and immediately thought Texas.  But it’s actually in Hillsboro, Oregon...  2,000 miles away, and not 200.   :(
