HEY Stew,

What brand rear hugger fender is that.?    It looks bigger than most.

I thought it was the stocker, came on the bike . I'll have a close look at it tomorrow if it is dry, see if there are any identifying marks.

What a difference a week makes. 😡 GRRR!  It's been raining and heavy fog now for 24 hours.  High of 50F. Forecast is not good either!

I HATE the end of riding season!

Oh well, pull it in the basement for farkle and maintenance season.

DITO

I have the Pyramid extension that works very well an cost me at a steal like $35 for real carbon...but I'd like to see a side view to see how far back Stew's goes.  The Pyramid's tip goes just past the axle. It looks like Stew's hugger covers the gaps at the swingarm that on the stocker (well forward of my extension) need to be sealed to protect the shock.

Short 100kms ride today to test out my new Smart Turn System (self-cancelling indicators).

I stopped at a lovely little spot called Kiamba just North of Nambour on the Sunshine Coast AU.  Weather warm, very quiet and no-one around.

Time to enjoy the the serenity. 🙂

Your makin me sick...

Well at least this winter I won't have the snow throwers crammed in my shop for the first time, as with L4~6 fusion on 2020-11-30, I'm hiring a service to clear the white stuff.  Should be good to go come spring and be able to give each bike their turn on the lift in my (had to stick it back to you somehow) heated, air conditioned, carpeted, frig, wifi, tunes shop to maintain and farkle in during the dark time.  We can get 3 feet overnight but global warming has limited that 🙂

Ha!  Sorry about that.  Wasn't my intention 🙂

We don't get any of that white stuff around these parts at any time.  While I pay to go to places that have snow for novelty/holiday purposes, I can only imagine what living with it for extended periods of time must be like.  Couple that with short days which makes mo'bike riding right out of the question...... unless you're @Wintersdark of course! 😉

Man, if it never snowed, I'd be out on my bike every day.  As it stands, I still have to park it when it's actually snowing, in case we get stuff like that.  Short days, though?  Darkness puts riding out of the question?  Do you Aussies not have headlights? :)

Photo's of the hugger on my bike for you guys. I couldn't find any identifying marks on it at all (pre ride!) , and sorry, I have no idea if it is a stock 2015 one or not...

Ha! I probably didn't word that too well.  Really just meant the whole super cold winter thing and everything that goes with that.  I can only imagine that would make for 'ordinary' riding conditions.

The upside is that there is the opportunity to have the bike in pieces servicing it and not have the worry that you're missing out on some good riding weather. 🙂  I'm trying to be 'Glass half full'.

What do you call super cold? I'm also in the southern hemisphere, we get an hour of snow every ten years on average and where I live, 26°08’S, 1,800 metres above sea level we get no rain at all from end of April to September. Other parts of the country have horrible cold wet winters and snow every year.

It might drop below freezing at night but can get into the 20s C during the day in winter. Perfect for year round riding.

The super cold thing?  This really - "......horrible cold wet winters and snow every year"  That could not be pleasant for bike riding in anyone's language.

However, what you experience weather wise sounds great though. 🙂

Similar here - no rain from April until November. The downside is that the state burns down from May to November...

Living the dream lads n lassies, living the dream.....

Damp, 40f , quiet roads. What a brilliant wee ride I've had, about 2 hours of back roads, with a diversion to a traditional Scottish snackery (Greggs ;) )
