Supporting Member texscottyd Posted December 16, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted December 16, 2019 Legit LOL, @piotrek... nicely done. He was so young and innocent. He didn’t even have a passport... it’s just not the same around here without him.

Supporting Member roadrash83 Posted December 16, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted December 16, 2019 I put a set of Michelin Road 5's on, no more shake decelerating thru 40 mph with hands of the bars☺️. While the front wheel was off I installed the 320mm R1 rotors with the 11mm caliper spacers that I had made up. I made a point to take the bike out for a ride to burn off the fuel in the tank, before it comes off for the Speigler brake line install. The front brakes definitely improved with the larger rotors and I'm looking forward to further improvement with the new lines. 1 1 He who dies with the most toys wins. Supporting Member dazzler24 Posted December 18, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted December 18, 2019 I installed Renthal Street Naked handlebars - very happy with them. I always felt as though I was 'reaching' just that little bit with the stock bar but the Renthal is swept just right IMHO. While I had the bike pulled down for some maintenance I also added a Chinese bike dash cam V-SYS P6FL dual camera - 1080P front and back, the entire system rated as waterproof and is very discreet. No screen on head unit and is set up via a basic app. Turns on & off with the ignition and has a fob with buttons to allow you to take a photo and 'lock' a section of footage from being erased. Not GoPro quality footage but good enough for the intended purpose. P6FL Kit: Decent connectors: Mounting position for the DVR head unit - compact, neat, out of the road and SD card accessible from the top: Front Camera location: Rear Camera located under the rear luggage carrier: 2
Popular Post Wintersdark
Got well and truly into wrapping my GT. Black satin on the lower, white panels, going to be ghost metallic blue everywhere that's currently gray. First attempt went pretty well, but still ripped it off and tried again (I bought lots of extra vinyl). Ended up really happy with how it looks. Slightly flawed (Not as clean as I'd like around the emblem), but overall it worked out very well. Gonna do the hard cases first, as I'll be able to get a really good result there and more practice before working on the tank "scoop" panels. Manxkiwi
Not today, but on Monday I'm fitting a Nitron NTR2 on my GT. Really looking forward to the upgrade. I've done suspension on a number of my bikes over the last few years and never regretted any of them. Highly recommended if you can afford it. The GT seems to be sprung for a 60kg rider never intending to have a passenger or be loaded! 3
Popular Post Wintersdark
Finally finished up wrapping the side panels, getting the emblems stuck on and everything reassembled. All in all, I'm very happy with the result. It's got some slight flaws right up in the corners, but it's one of those "you need to know to look" sort of issues.
