Thanks for the reply Gary.

Unfortunately I'm stuffed. Tried to order some but Motopumps don't ship to the UK. Thats strange because they appear to ship all round the globe but specifically exclude the UK.

Back to the drawing board !

Cheers again JJ

I’d be happy to order and ship them to you, I would have to think it’s probably $30 USD or so for shipping but perhaps there are other local options. LMK

I like my Moto Pumps risers also.

BTW: Check your manual. The switch wires from both sides go through the middle between the risers. Gets the wires away from the ignition.

One of many things done wrong by dealers when assembled from the crate.

Also the front facing bolts should be torqued FIRST, there should be NO GAP in the handle bar mounts at the front.

Thats a very kind offer mate, thank you very much.

I've done some more digging and found that Motopumps have an international Ebay site. Order placed and accepted. $115.19 for item, delivery and taxes. I'm happy with that.

Thanks again and to the other guys with fitting tips.

I think this needs its own thread. Don't bury this in a 500+ page thread about mechanical work!

So I am back from the trip and just posted a write up here:

This post was perfectly timed...  After my ride last week I was noticing after about 200 - 300 mi the outsides of both of my hands would get very very sore.  I think I've ID'd it to being a bit of a hand angle when I am sitting back on the seat more.  I just ordered one of these to see what it does... if it doesnt fix the hand issue I figure its easy to sell it.

For me it took risers and a new bar.

Same here, the bar risers and bars with a different bend make a huge difference in comfort.  I have used the Rizoma bars on my current and past few bikes and find the sweep angle to be very neutral on the wrists.

Yes, I have the MA009.  👍

So, replacing the bars... when I've done that on some other bikes there was a good bit of work because the stock controls and such have lugs and holes in the bars they attached to.  How are the Yamaha controls and such, how hard is the bar swap on these?

I have never used those lugs (I grind them off with a Dremel) or drilled holes in new bars. The only alteration I do is get the bar ends threaded for bar end weights.
